“Lobster Buoys at Cape Neddick”, Maine

Those lobster buoys clustered in glorious disarray. It was one of those last golden days of Fall, when an unexpected day in the 60’s welcomes you outside to paint. I chose this spot on Cape Neddick, Maine because of this little lobster pound. The buoys all hodge-podged, the luminescent shadows and the tide sliding out.

In the third picture Jonalyn is painting on site at Cape Neddick. This plein air piece would be the reference to improve the idea back at the studio.
