“Dr. Sheila, MD” – Steamboat Springs, CO

(2 customer reviews)

Dr. Sheila Fountain has practiced medicine for 20 years across two cities in the Rocky Mountains. Voted “Best of the ‘Boat” pediatrician in Steamboat, she served as doctor for Jonalyn’s two boys for several years.

Dr. Sheila said practicing medicine during COVID was like having a hand covering her mouth. She created the idea for this painting and modeled the pose. This image has been her COVID-19 experience. Soon she will transition out of pediatric care due to the medical administration’s authoritarian position of silencing doctor’s concerns over the vaccine for children.

Do you personally know any doctors who have reservations about giving the vaccine to children? If so, what have you learned from them? If not, consider learning more at Brownstone Institute, whose purpose is “toward a better understanding of essential freedoms – including intellectual freedom and free speech – and the proper means to preserve essential rights even in times of crisis.” Brownstone Institute

This painting was part of Jonalyn’s Saving Lives Gallery and Virtual Watercolor Event.

All Jonalyn’s paintings arrive with a living edge. You can frame her art by either covering or showcasing this raw edge. Jonalyn’s favorite way to frame her work is in a “float mount” showcasing this raw, living edge.

Sheila is our daughter. Her stand during Covid almost lost her her medical license. We were proud of her then, for taking that stand and are so proud of her and the path it has led her own. We know God alone has directed that path as she stood so firm in her beliefs.
Thank you, Ms. Jonalyn, for painting this perfect picture of her. I plan to purchase it soon.

    Diane and Tommy,

What a kind review. Thank you!

It would give me great joy to know this painting of your daughter, Dr. Sheila, may hang in your home. I have been so impressed at her steady courage, too. So proud to call her my friend. I imagine you’re busting your buttons knowing she is your daughter. She’s been a faithful lighthouse to so many over the years.

I am also happy to see you’ve purchased the Saving Lives Gallery film to view. Sheila’s story is featured several times.

God’s blessing and care to you and your family!
