Our family would sometimes cross-country ski along the frozen river in Steamboat Lake in Clark, Colorado. The untamed beauty of the frozen water, wide open spaces to carve new trails. And then the mountains all around us. In this scene my husband leads the way as he pulls our youngest. You can see the little guys skis tucked away and he tuckered out along the stretch. But our oldest was still plowing along. Some good memories in this smaller town just north of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
