“Autumn Ramblings”, Hurd Farm, Hampton, New Hampshire

Covered Bridge, Hurd Farm, Old Stage Road, Hampton, NH. Can’t you just see the stages going through this one?

This is where I waited for 1.5 hours for my locally raised turkey, Nov 2021. It was actually a wonderful time because, of the hundreds queued up that chilly morning, I got to stand alongside a fellow artist, singer, songwriter. I still remember several things he told me. Here’s one for you: “Someone once asked Aretha Franklin what ‘soul’ meant. “Soul,” she said. “Is making you feel what I’m feeling.”
